About the Flow series
"Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force." — Lao Tzu
This body of work is inspired by nature's rhythms — currents, growth, and light. The pieces explore beauty in motion and moments of becoming. The bold yet delicate forms flow organically and voluptuously, where the interplay of fluid forms and rich, velvety colours dances in a surreal embrace, never quite settling into a specific state, living a life of their own. Each painting feels suspended in time, between fragility and power.
The raw linen canvas is left exposed, emphasising material honesty while adding warmth and texture — allowing the painted form to emerge as something both embedded and detached, half in a state of suspension.
Oil on raw linen
Each painting is made in oil on unprimed linen, left bare so the natural texture and warmth of the canvas become part of the work. The forms are rendered slowly, layer by layer, with complete precision.
